Harrison Ford dons the fedora once more at 78 years old for Indiana Jones 5. John Williams has delayed his retirement to provide the score. Now Emmy-winning Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve) has been cast as the female lead. Lucasfilm is producing for Paramount Pictures.

Director James Mangold (Ford v Ferrari / Le Mans ’66) released a statement announcing the news:

“I’m thrilled to be starting a new adventure, collaborating with a dream team of all-time great filmmakers. Steven, Harrison, Kathy, Frank, and John are all artistic heroes of mine. When you add Phoebe, a dazzling actor, brilliant creative voice and the chemistry she will undoubtedly bring to our set, I can’t help but feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself.”

Waller-Bridge recently completed a script polish on the upcoming 007 adventure No Time to Die and was the voice of the activist droid L3-37 in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
