It seems like everyday there’s someone that the mob on Twitter wants to cancel for one excuse or another.
For instance, Johnny Depp was cancelled from Fantastic Beasts 3 and there’s a petition to have Amber Heard removed from Aquaman 2.
Today’s target is Gina Carano, who most recently has been in The Mandalorian Disney+ series. The other day she tweeted out that she had made an account on Parler, which for those that don’t know is a competitor to Twitter and is seen as a more true version of a free speech social media platform.
It seems the usual Twitter mob has picked up on this and has taking up the typical type hashtag #FireGinaCarano in order to try getting her canceled.
In doing so they have of course posted the typical buzzwords of calling her “racist” and “transphobic.” Also some are claiming her having an opinion is somehow “violent and harmful.”
this isn’t just a difference in political opinions, what she has done and continuing to do is violent and harmful. she is supporting and defending white supremacists and their extremist ideals whilst voicing her own. #fireginacarano pic.twitter.com/bWg8bDNHzw

Some saying she should be replaced with other females of the show.
Until those others actresses have an opinion that’s opposite of their’s of course. The only thing it seems Gina Carano is really guilty of, is having her own opinion. There’s nothing controversial about that.
However, there are some out there that disagree with this hashtag and what’s going on.
The hyperbolic fascists are trying to cancel a rare legit female action star with this #FireGinaCarano BS. Stop getting bent out of shape and screaming for someone’s job because someone dares to share a completely acceptable different point of view. #StandWithGina

At the end of the day, maybe this is just Twitter drama and nothing more will come of it. Again, everyday the mob sets their sites on someone new to go after. In reality, all anyone has to do when targeted is log off social media a few days and let it all blow over.
The mob will move along like a pack of mindless zombies, looking for someone else that doesn’t agree with them.
The Mandalorian is on it’s third episode of it’s second season.
