A24 has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming horror-comedy, Bodies Bodies Bodies starring Pete Davidson.
The synopsis is as follows:
When a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game goes awry in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong.
With a string of original movies already under their belts such as The Lighthouse, The Green King, Ex Machina, Under The Skin, and Midsommer, A24 are quickly becoming the most interesting movie studio to work for.
A24 are having a really successful year so far with Everything Everywhere All At Once, Men, X and big buzz around the upcoming Marcel The Shell With Shoes On. With Bodies Bodies Bodies it looks like A24 are on one hell of a run right now.
On Rotten Tomatoes it has a 96% positive rating, with an average rating of 7.6/10 on Metacritic. According to their rating system, this indicates “universal acclaim”.
It stars Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Rachel Sennott, Chase Sui Wonders, Myha’la Herrold, Lee Pace, and Conner O’Malley alongside Davidson.

Way back in March 2018, A24 acquired Bodies Bodies Bodies based on a spec script written by Kristen Roupenian. From September 2019 Chloe Okuno re-wrote the film and prepared to direct.
Maria Bakalova said she was scared to be in a horror movie, being scared watching them, but knew A24 films went deeper; she said that the film was:
“…more like an R-rated comedy”.
Principal photography began in May 2021
