The God Of Thunder Speaks
Thor actor Chris Hemsworth is offering an idea of when cameras will start rolling on the God of Thunder’s next standalone film.
Marvel plans to unleash Thor: Love And Thunder toward the end of Phase Four of the MCU. Writer and director Taika Waititi is currently fine-tuning the sequel’s story and is getting ready to cast some new characters.
Over the weekend, Hemsworth participated in a panel at Tokyo Comic-Con. Clearly, the subject of Love And Thunder came up. And while he couldn’t reveal any plot details, he did share his excitement about getting to revisit Thor after the fallout from Endgame.
Hemsworth said –
“Lots of love and lots of thunder,”
“You can expect that. I haven’t seen the script yet. I know they’re working very hard on it and pretty excited to bring you something pretty fresh and new again. But having left Endgame, where Thor was, we have a lot of room to move there and drastically change again, which is very, very exciting. But we start shooting that sort of mid-next year.”
Waititi confirmed last month that he finished his first draft of Love And Thunder’s screenplay, and has promised that the new movie will “be bigger and louder and more bombastic” than Thor: Ragnarok.
Thor: Love And Thunder opens on November 5th, 2021.
