Blofeld – Diamonds Are Forever
Telly Savalas was great in the role. So was Donald Pleasance. Charles Gray sucks. His voice, his chin, his constipated facial expressions. Horrible.
Lawrence And Freddy – The Hustle
The remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (The Hustle) differs from Ghostbusters (2016) in one simple respect. The Hustle is almost a shot for shot remake of the 1988 movie with all of the same story beats with just the genders swapped (confession I only lasted about 25 minutes so maybe they changed things up later – yeah right) and Ghostbusters at least tried to have a different story and some new characters (it was still an abject failure). That’s why the former is on this list and not the latter.
The biggest problem with this remake is that the leads (Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson) aren’t funny. They are terrible comedic actresses that couldn’t cause a single member of the audience (I’m guessing) to crack a smile if their lives depended on it. They probably couldn’t crack an egg if their lives depended on it. Chips O’Toole and Rupert the Monkey Boy deserved better.
Lex Luthor – Batman Vs. Superman
Jesse Eisenberg was cast as Lex Luthor (This sentence and the picture above are all that needs to be said).
Murphy – Robocop 3
I’ve never watched it. Everybody says it sucks and that Robert John Burke sucks as Murphy. I believe them.
Kyle Reese And Sarah Connor – Terminator Genisys
I’ve never watched it. Everybody says it sucks and that Jai Courtney sucks as Kyle Reese and Emilia Clarke sucks as Sarah Connor. I believe them.
