Wes Anderson is a very styled director and a bit like Marmite, you either like his work or your don’t. A few big stars seem to love him.

Anderson is known for movies like Isle of Dogs, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom and Fantastic Mr Fox, to name just a few. He has a new untitled project filming at the moment and it has some very big names in it.

The cast, at the moment, is Margot Robbie, Tom Hanks, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody, Bill Murray, Rupert Friend and Jason Schwartzman. Some of those work with Anderson on a regular basis, some don’t.

Scarlett Johansson is the latest addition. She has worked with him before as she was one of the voices in Isle of Dogs, but this time she will be in front of the camera.

Anderson has written the movie, but the plot for the movie is being kept under wraps. It’s expected to finishing filming, just in time for the opening of his latest movie, The French Dispatch.

The French Dispatch has the plot:

A love letter to journalists set in an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional twentieth century French city that brings to life a collection of stories published in The French Dispatch Magazine.

It stars Timothee Chalamet, Jeffery Wright, Elizabeth Moss, Saorise Ronan, Owen Wilson, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, Christopher Waltz, Adrina Brody, Frances McDormand, Lea Seydoux, Benicio Del Toro, Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, Liev Schreiber, Anjelica Huston, Rupert Friend and Fisher Stevens. That’s a lot of big names!

The French Dispatch is due out on 22nd Oct 2021. There is no due date for the untitled project yet.
