The UK version of Vanity Fair is reporting that lead actor Robert Pattinson has tested positive for COVID19. This has caused production on Matt Reeves’ The Batman to shut down once again.

Nobody at Warner Bros. or at Pattinson’s agents will confirm but the set has been closed at Leavesden Studios and the whole show is paused. Warner’s did confirm a positive test on somebody:

“A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19 and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.”

They only recently re-started with less than 25% of the movie shot before the first closedown. The production was following the strict COVID19 safety protocols that many other productions are using, such as Jurassic World: Dominion and Avatar 2.

The Batman recently released it’s first trailer as part of DC Fandome.
