Who doesn’t enjoy a good love story? Adrian Lyne, that’s who. The director of movies like Unfaithful, Lolita, Indecent Proposal, Fatal Attraction, and 9½ Weeks doesn’t seem to like a regular rom-com.

After being on a 20-year hiatus, Lyne is back with new thriller Deep Water. It will be released on Hulu and they have just dropped a teaser.

That does look creepy. The official blurb says:

A well-to-do husband who allows his wife to have affairs in order to avoid a divorce becomes a prime suspect in the disappearance of her lovers.

As said, not your usual rom-com. Deep Water stars Ben Affleck, Ana de Armas, Tracy Letts, Rachel Blanchard, Lil Rel Howery, Finn Wittrock, and Jacob Elordi to name a few.

You’d be grinning like that if you got to date Ana De Armas too!

It is based on a novel by Patricia Highsmith who is known for books like Strangers on a Train and The Talented Mr. Ripley. The screenplay was written by Zach Helm and Sam Levinson. Deep Water will stream on Hulu on 18th March and the good news is, it’s been rated R for:

… sexual content, nudity, language and some violence.

If there are two things to make you want to see this movie, it’s the words nudity and Ana de Armas. And don’t have a go at me, it’s what we’re all thinking.
