Stranger Things has been a huge success for Netflix, having been streamed millions of times around the world. A teaser for Season 4 has just landed.
It seems the season will focus on Creel House, the house of new character Victor Creel being played by horror legend, Robert Englund.
We find Creel imprisoned in a psychiatric ward since his family was murdered in the 1950s, which Creel blamed on a vengeful demon. However, this is Stranger Things, so Creel has seen something from the Upside Down.
It also shows that the Upside Down has been affecting the town of Hawkins for much longer than we originally thought.
Usually, Netflix shows a teaser a month or so before the show is due out but Season 4 has a much larger promotional window since it’s not streaming until February 2022. However, they have used this teaser to launch TUDUM Virtual Event. This was a three-hour preview of over 100 titles on Netflix global slate of film and TV.
All of the original cast are back, but new faces include Robert Englund, Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn, Amybeth McNulty, Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen and Grace Van Dien.
Executive producer, Shawn Levy, told Variety that Season 4 was shot in Georgia, New Mexico, and Lithuania and is:
“…visually and narratively very ambitious, much more ambitious than the prior three seasons.”
Personally, I thought Season 3 was pretty ambitious and one of the best series on TV for a while. We’re going to have to wait until Feb 2022 for Season 4 of Stranger Things.
