The Terminal List is out and star Chris Pratt is doing the rounds. While on various junkets he is inevitably asked about the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3. This is James Gunn’s final spin around the MCU and is rumored to be the last time we will see many of the Guardian’s as their contracts are up after this picture.
Pratt did not hold back in his praise of what he says Gunn has achieved:
“It’s fantastic. [Director] James Gunn just watched a rough assembly the other day. I called him yesterday. We Facetimed, and he’s very, very proud of the work that everyone’s done. He said it’s the best work all of us have ever done. He feels very, very confident. The script was amazing.
And I can say with utter confidence that he’s made a true masterpiece, and I just cannot wait for people to see it. It’s James Gunn. He did all three movies, which is really rare and really special in the world of big box-office trilogies.”
Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel all return for the new instalment. Will Poulter and Chukwudi Iwuji joing the cast. Several of the Guardian’s are in Thor: Love and Thunder and the whole crew will be back in a Disney+ Christmas special based around the Guardians Of The Galaxy.
The first movie was the tenth in the MCU, eight years ago. How time flies? We are now up to 34 movies with upcoming releases and if you include the Netflix shows and ABC shows like Agents Of SHEILD there are also 29 seasons of MCU television.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 will be released on 5th May 2023.
