Production may have been shut down for huge swathes of the year, but it hasn’t stopped studios considering where they might go next. Sony Pictures is no exception. With an the Uncharted movie wrapping shooting, and The Last Of Us spinning up at HBO, they are looking the PlayStation once again for inspiration.
Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinciquerra was speaking to CNBC said they are going to adapt more PlayStation titles going forward. While they haven’t quite finalized the plan yet, they are working on it.
It will be a part of a bigger play at Sony under the banner “One Sony” which aims to integrate the company’s different divisions ore effectively. Gaming, movies, TV and consumer electronics will operate less as completely separate entities.
God of War, Days Gone, Infamous, Ratchet and Clank, Ghosts of Tsushima, Killzone, Resistance and Gran Turismo could all be contenders for the big screen treatment.
