Apple TV+ has dropped the teaser trailer for Shrinking. This is the new original comedy series from Ted Lasso co-creator Bill Lawrence and writer/co-star/co-executive producer Brett Goldstein along with actor Jason Segel.
Segel stars as a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks.
While Jimmy’s still committed to helping his patients deal with a wide range of issues, he’s less interested in becomes less sensitive about how he deals with people or sugar coating the advice he gives them. His personal life begins to change in unexpected ways, and it starts to become clear to everyone around him that a little honesty goes a long way toward shaking things up.
Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives… including his own.
Shrinking marks Harrison Ford’s first regular foray into television since becoming a megastar, unless you count the Star Wars Holiday Special.
Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie, and Lukita Maxwell also star in the Warner Bros. Television-produced series.
Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Randall Winston, Jeff Ingold, and Liza Katzer executive produce. Shrinking will premiere globally with the first two episodes on Friday, January 27th on Apple TV+ followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.
Shrinking joins other stuff on Apple TV. At least, we think it does. We presume there is other stuff on there. Nobody we know has it or watches anything on it, but it really is a “thing” so we suppose there must be other stuff.
If anyone ever sees it, maybe they can let us know?
