Filming of the third season of The Boys is underway, just a few months out from the end of the second season. The crew is back in front of the cameras with Eric Kripke adapting the comics created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.

Jack Quaid posted to Twitter an image of him and Erin Moriarty all hyped for starting the filming of season 3 of The Boys.

“Season-three’s greetings, everyone! Can ya tell we’re excited to be back? @TheBoysTV @ErinMoriarty_ @SPTV @PrimeVideo”

The official Prime Video account also posted a pic on Twitter with pics of Laz Alonso, Karl Urban, Anthony Starr, and Jack Quaid. Seemingly on flights to go shooting the new season. The tweet reads –

“We knew they were up to something behind those matching masks. Season 3 of The Boys is coming soon.”

Anthony Starr also got into the spirit of things, by posting a selfie on Instagram. He makes similar remarks –

“Season three is underway. I think everyone knew that. But….today, it’s official. For y’all that weren’t aware, the blonde boys bitches are back .

For those that haven’t yet watched the show, The Boys is about a world where superheroes really exist and are a hot commodity. However, it’s not what you might think. Instead of them being good people that save those in trouble out of the kindness of their heart, they’re horrible people and do only good based on the paycheck involved.

They’re obsessed with greed, fame and power… basically like celebrities in the real world.

There’s also a lot of shady stuff going on as well and Billy Butcher and ‘the boys’ are working underground to reveal the true nature of the sups.

Personally, I’m no longer interested in the show. I liked the first season, there was some politics to it showing their left-leaning beliefs, but that was amped up in season 2, making it clear what they thought of “orange man bad.” I might give it an episode, but I won’t lose any sleep if I miss it.
