Filming Starts In March

Raised By Wolves will start filming its second season in Cape Town, South Africa, from mid-March, lead actress Amanda Collin has revealed.

Ridley Scott’s Raised By Wolves premiered in September last year and became the most-watched original production of HBO Max during its run.
Collin told NME that she has travelled to Cape Town early to prepare for the upcoming shoot –

“I’m very excited, I can’t wait to get back in my ‘dolphin suit’, as we call it, and start shooting,”

“It’s such a dream part and the second season for Mother [includes] many more challenging scenes.”

The 10-part first season followed two androids (played by Collin and Abubakar Salim), who crash land on a strange planet after escaping from a dangerous war zone. They have been tasked with raising human children from embryos in the hope of rebuilding civilisation.

There has yet to be an official date announced for the second season of the show, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
