Amazon Prime has released a very brief teaser for the Chris Pratt-led action thriller series The Terminal List. This is due on the streamer on July 1st.

Amazon Prime is piling up the content. As Disney+ growth slows and Netflix stagnates and loses content, could the richest man in the world in the form of Jeff Bezos come storming through with the might of Amazon? I am certainly finding I watch more and more on the platform compared to a few years ago when I only signed up for the free delivery.

Terminal-list

Based on Jack Carr’s bestseller, the story follows a Navy SEAL (Pratt) who is the sole survivor of a covert mission that goes very wrong. He is left with conflicting memories of the incident and uncovers evidence of dark forces working against him and his family.

After becoming totally obsessed with the incident, he eventually discovers who was behind it and with years of military training under his belt, and with absolutely nothing to lose, he goes after them.

The series has a truly huge cast including Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, Jai Courtney, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Riley Keough, Arlo Mertz, JD Pardo, LaMonica Garrett, Stephen Bishop, Sean Gunn, Tyner Rushing, Jared Shaw, Christina Vidal, Nick Chinlund, Matthew Rauch, Warren Kole, and Alexis Louder. Also starring is Pratt’s brother-in-law Patrick Schwarzenegger.

The rumor is that Amazon will follow the Reacher model and drop all eight episodes at once.

Pratt, Antoine Fuqua, and Jon Schumacher executive produce the series. The author, Jack Carr, is a former Navy SEAL and the book is known for technical detail alongside the intricate plotting and page-turning pace.
