Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you will know that Disney is still continuing to churn out all the Star Wars content they can. One of the most “anticipated” shows is Obi- Wan Kenobi starring Ewan McGregor.
The original air date for Obi-Wan Kenobi was set for Wednesday 25th May, but this has now been moved two days back to Friday 27th May. Disney had McGregor announce it on Twitter.

OK, so we get two episodes for the price of one, yay, and that’s a little “yay”, since I still can’t get too excited about the whole thing. There is no news yet if the other episodes will then drop back to a Wednesday, like most of the other Disney+ shows.
What is weird is that date. It is also the release date of Stranger Things Season 4 on Netflix. It is also the day that Top Gun: Maverick is released in the cinemas. So basically, you have 2 hours of Star Wars, 2 hours of Top Gun, and 8 hours of Stranger Things to watch all in one day. 12 hours of awesomeness… maybe?
I am excited for Stranger Things. I think it’s been a strong show and the new season looks good. I have very low expectations of Obi-Wan Kenobi because, you know, it’s Disney, but I will watch it. I know you’re going to hate me for this, but I have zero interest in Top Gun. So it’s only a possible 10 hours of awesomeness for me.
If you had to pick one, which would you watch? Stranger Things? Obi-Wan Kenobi? Top Gun? Or are you going to pull a sickie at work and watch all of them? Maybe take two mobile phones and then watch the two streaming series at the same time in the cinema*!
