After production delays, on-set injuries and a change of director, the 25th 007 adventure is finally approaching.  MGM and the new distribution partner this time out, Universal, released a brief tease this week.  Now the full trailer is here.

Daniel Craig has confirmed this is most definitely his final outing as James Bond after what will be nearly fifteen years in the role when No Time To Die is released in April 2020.  This will lead to the usual frenzy of speculation about the next actor to take on the role.

Rami Malek joins the cast as the villain Safin, with Ana De Armas as Paloma, Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, Ben Whishaw as Q and Lashana Lynch as Nomi. The film also stars Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Billy Magnussen, Rory Kinnear, David Denick, and Dali Benssalah.

The movie will pick up after the events of the previous Bond adventure, Spectre, with 007 living a quiet life in Jamaica following his decision to quit the Secret Service.  His old CIA contact Felix Leiter seeks him out to ask for his help to locate a kidnapped scientist.  Bond then finds himself drawn into a dangerous confrontation with a villain armed with a powerful and deadly new technology.

Ahead of the trailer launch, the producers revealed a series of new character posters.

Cary Fukunaga helms No Time to Die, which producer Barbara Broccoli was gushing over in the press this morning, saying it’s a fitting send-off for Daniel Craig and that the movie has surpassed all their expectations.  We will see if we agree in April next year.
