With a global pandemic, distrust between nations and political turmoil ravaging the globe, it is our sad duty to inform you that there is a global SPUMC shortage. Those of you who were looking forward to getting covered in SPUMC, drowning in SPUMC, are going to be disappointed. Sony Pictures just can’t get a good release of SPUMC.

The Sony Pictures Universe Of Marvel Characters remains in a holding pattern post Venom. Morbius was due out in July 2020. Then it was delayed until March 2021. Now the release won’t be shooting onto screens until October 8th 2021. Another seven months delay. Thanks China! Now we have to wait for SPUMC too, all because somebody licked a bat or gave a pangolin a reach-around.

Based on Morbius The Living Vampire from Marvel Comics, Jared Leto stars as Michael Morbius. When he uses something extracted from a bat to cure him from a rare blood disease, he accidentally becomes afflicted with a form of vampirism.

Hang on, disease, bats…  oh…..  on second thoughts maybe we don’t want to be covered in this SPUMC right now.

Matt Smith stars as the villain Loxias Crown. Jared Harris plays Morbius’ mentor, Adria Arjona his fiancee. Tyrese Gibson and Al Madrigal will play FBI agents hunting him. Daniel Espinosa directs.

A trailer scene showed Michael Keaton’s Vulture in the mix too. With Blade coming from the MCU will this be the key to unlocking the supernatural, along with Moon Knight?
