Nolan Drops Cryptic Tweet

Christopher Nolan’s official movie account just dropped a cryptic teaser on Twitter for his upcoming film Tenet, which is currently being filmed across seven countries.


In this recent teaser, the word Tenet spins around for 50 seconds as the background and font alternate between being black and white. The Tenet account tweeted the video without any comment.

The plot of Tenet is briefly described as a globe-trotting adventure that dabbles in international espionage. The word Tenet is defined as –

“a principle or belief, especially one of the main principles of a religion or philosophy.”

The full trailer will most likely arrive in a prologue ahead of next weekend’s release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.


The Tenet cast includes David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Clémence Poésy, Kenneth Branagh, and Michael Caine, who has had a role in every one of Nolan’s feature films since Batman Begins.


Tenet is set to arrive in theaters on July 17, 2020.
