It seems harder and harder to get excited about new movies coming out these days, but now and then there is something to look forward to. For example Dune Part Two.

The first one was a great remake, did well at the box office and was even the Last Movie Outposts overall Number 1 movie of 2021.

Dune Part Two is moving ahead, with production scheduled to start some time later this year. We know that Christopher Walken has been cast as the Emperor and now more cast are joining the movie.

Léa Seydoux (Spectre, No Time To Die) has been cast as Lady Margot, who is a vital ally to Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet, in the fight against the Harkonnens.

In the original novels, Lady Margot came into the story early as she warns Paul’s mother about the treachery that waited them on Arrakis. This didn’t make the final cut in Dune but she will be having a bigger role in Dune Part Two. Both her and Paul’s mother are members of the Bene Gesserit.

Also joining them is Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan Corrino and Austin Butler, who will be playing Sting’s “brilliant” role of Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen.

All of the original cast are back, if they survived the first movie. Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, and Javier Bardem all return.

Dune Part Two is being co-written by director Denis Villeneuve and Jon Spaihts, who both wrote the first part. It will be released sometime in 2023.
