Filming Begins In Spring

Marvel’s Moon Knight series has reportedly added Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead as directors on the upcoming Disney+ series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Benson and Moorhead will join previously announced director Mohamed Diab when production starts.

Oscar Isaac is rumoured to be taking on the lead role in Moon Knight, which was hinted at earlier this week, thanks to Gregory Middleton. Middleton, the cinematographer better known for his work on Game Of Thrones and Watchmen, recently took to Instagram to announce his involvement on Moon Knight

“Well, the secret is out. It’s an honor to be a part of introducing a new character to the MCU #MoonKnight. Who says cinematographers worry about white costumes! … not if they are complex characters played by an amazing performer like @officialoscarrisaac. Thank you director Mohamed Diab and the #mcu for inviting me aboard.”

The news of Isaac playing the character has not been given the official stamp by Disney or Marvel. We also have no release date for the series which was earlier supposed to be done with its production by the end of 2020.

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige recently stated that the goal of Moon Knight is to –

“Earn the applause and fandom by delivering everything we’ve just promised.”

“It’s been a while since we’ve had an action hero who jumps out of buildings and gets into fights… The mental illness is a unique aspect of the program.”

Moon Knight will reportedly begin shooting in Budapest in March.
