Set in the gap year between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel’s Black Widow is shortly upon us.  After the first trailer a few weeks ago, now Marvel brings us a special look at Scarlett Johansson kicking ass as Natasha.

Their first film of their planned Phase 4 of films and shows is released in the aftermath of the Infinity Saga, which closed with SpiderMan: Far From Home.  However it is set back within that saga.  Strange choice?  Or important consideration that will reveal something the  MCU needs to move forward?

In this movie Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff is on the run and will be forced to deal with some unfinished business from her pre-SHIELD days as a KGB-trained spy and assassin.

Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Rachel Weisz, Ray Winstone and O.T. Fagbenle co-star in the film. The main villain will be Taskmaster.

Black Widow opens in cinemas May 1st.
