A Facebook Watch original, Limetown is based on a 2015 scripted podcast by Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie that follows a radio reporter obsessing over an unsolved mystery.
Limetown follows radio journalist Lia Haddock (Jessica Biel) as she investigates the mysterious disappearances of over 300 people at a neuroscience research facility.
Described as a cross between a podcast Serial and a paranormal television show, Limetown debuted in 2015 and quickly became the number one podcast on iTunes. The trailer digs into the big mystery, which has plenty of twists waiting in the wings:

The official synopsis reads:

Stanley Tucci also stars as Emilie Haddock, Lia’s uncle who is one of the missing residents of Limetown. Omar Elba plays Mark Green, Lia’s producer, Janet Kidder plays Lenore, the Mayor of Limetown who’s gone missing, and John Beasley plays Warren, a vet who cares for the mysterious Limetown pigs.
The show premieres on Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. EDT on Facebook Watch.
