Brace For Impact
Amazon Prime Video has dropped the trailer for mile-high action thriller 7500, which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
In 7500, a plane is overrun by terrorists armed with makeshift knives. With the captain severely injured, co-pilot Tobias (JGL) is able to lock himself in the cockpit and prepare for an emergency landing, but then the attackers kill a passenger and threaten to do the same with others if he doesn’t open the door.

Amazon’s official synopsis reads –
“It looks like a routine day at work for Tobias, a soft-spoken young American co-pilot on a flight from Berlin to Paris as he runs through the preflight checklist with Michael, the pilot, and chats with Gökce, his flight-attendant girlfriend. But shortly after takeoff, terrorists armed with makeshift knives suddenly storm the cockpit, seriously wounding Michael and slashing Tobias’ arm. Temporarily managing to fend off the attackers, a terrified Tobias contacts ground control to plan an emergency landing. But when the hijackers kill a passenger and threaten to murder more innocent people if he doesn’t let them back into the cockpit, this ordinary man faces an excruciating test.”
The film initially premiered at Switzerland’s Locarno Film Festival back in 2019. It received a critic score of 67% on Rotten Tomatoes, although it has yet to be ranked by audiences.
7500 stars Gordon-Levitt (The Dark Knight Rises), Carlo Kitzlinger (Berlin, I Love You), Aylin Tezel (Macho Man), Omid Memar (Famous Five 4), and Murathan Muslu (Cracks On Concrete).
According to EW, the film was acquired by Amazon Studios at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival and is set to hit the streaming service later this month.
