The Comic Con bounty continues to flow with a trailer for John Wick Chapter 4. Just imagine hanging out here with your old pals at Last Movie Outpost as being the same as actually being there. Just without the average food, the price-gouged hotels and the people with questionable hygiene wearing lots of lycra and latex in the punishing San Diego sun.
Unless you want to dress up as fat Harley Quinn by yourself at home? In which case, you do you, champ!
Lionsgate just dropped a first trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 at the Con, and it was good. The movie had guns, nunchucks, archery, swordplay and all the usual ultra-violence and action we have come to expect with John Wick.
The action in the movie will take in Japan, Jordan, Germany, France and the U.S. as old and new allies and enemies emerge when John Wick’s personal feud with the High Table escalates. Expect Wick to take an unholy beating but just keep ticking.
Old favorites Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick all return. Rina Sawayama, Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgard, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins, and the always great Clancy Brown co-star.
Here is the trailer:
This is said to be the second to last entry in the franchise, with John Wick: Chapter 5 being the end of his story. This fills us with a sense of dread, as the rules of the universe pretty much dictate that a man like John Wick, especially after the events of the movies, cannot be allowed to have a happy ever after kind of ending.
Still, at least there are quite a few people out there that regret that a dog got killed.
John Wick: Chapter 4 opens in cinemas on March 24th 2023 and we cannot wait.
