Jeremy Renner is out of surgery for blunt chest trauma and is still critical but stable in intensive care.

It was revealed yesterday that Renner was airlifted to a hospital in Reno having suffered after what they are calling “a weather-related accident while plowing snow.” These people and their fancy talk. Simply put, it would appear that his Snowcat vehicle flipped and accidentally ran over one of Renner’s legs.

Jeremy Renner
It’s a good job he plays Hawkeye and not The Flash… too soon?

TMZ reported that Renner had “extensive” injuries and was losing large amounts of blood before a neighbor, who happened to be a doctor, helped Renner by getting a tourniquet on his leg until paramedics airlifted the actor to hospital.

ExtraTV posted a video of him being airlifted to the hospital for some ghoulish reason. OK, stop asking, here it is you sickos:

A source close to Renner said it’s a miracle he’s alive after a snow plowing machine known as a Snowcat flipped on the actor and it’s going to be a very long road to recovery. Renner is said to be conscious, stable, and speaking.

This from his reps:

“We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.”

This is sad as shit as Renner genuinely seems to be one of Hollywood’s good guys often helping the homeless and children’s charities amongst many others. He’s also a volunteer fire chief and recently says he’s building a Tahoe fire station and will help fight fires.

Hollywood, and the world in general needs more people like Renner, so I’m hoping he pulls through and makes a full recovery.

Jeremy Renner shops with Sebastian Villaflores, 10, at Walmart in South Reno for “Shop with the Sheriff” on Dec. 10, 2019.
