Before Ezra Miller was arrested twice in Hawaii for assault. Before he was accused by two sets of parents for (allegedly) grooming their children. Before he housed a woman and her young children at his ranch and where there were (allegedly) guns, ammo and drugs littered everywhere. Before all that, Ezra Miller was filmed choking a woman in Iceland. What a guy!
Well, the woman wants to remain anonymous but has spoken out about what really happened.
Slip-Slaps And Chokeholds
The incident took place at Prikið Kaffihús, a pub in Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik that Miller often visited in the early days of the Covid pandemic. He was preparing to shoot The Flash and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The locals came to know him and even befriend him.
It wasn’t long however before Miller started to show a different, volatile side to his personality and that began to concern Icelanders.
Carlos Reynir, then a bartender at Prikið Kaffihús Reynir said he intervened in two altercations involving Miller. The first was a heated argument between Miller and a male patron that began as banter but ended in the actor putting the man in a chokehold and later slapping him.
Reynir, who broke up the fight, says Miller later apologized, and the other patron quickly shrugged it off as a joke. Reynir said:
“There was always something with Ezra. We just brushed it off as two friends getting drunk and getting in a fight, it’s Iceland. That happens twice a weekend.”
Flip-Flops And More Chokeholds
The second altercation wasn’t as easy to brush off as Miller assaulted a young woman at the bar and then pushed her to the ground. That video went viral online in early April 2020. If only Warner Bros had acted appropriately back then, perhaps I wouldn’t find myself sitting here writing about this douchebag for the umpteenth time.
According to three sources, the woman had been speaking to Miller at the bar. She said Miller was wearing flip-flops and she noticed scars on his feet. She politely asked about them and Miller explained they were battle scars from a fight. She began to walk away, but turned around and joked:
“But just so you know, I could take you in a fight.”
“You really want to fight?”
The woman told them to meet her in the smoking area in two minutes. Now, a normal man would have laughed it off and carried on with his drink. Maybe even a bit of banter about her going to fix him a sandwich, whatever. But this is Ezra Miller we’re talking about.
So Miller strolls outside and at first the woman thought Miller was joking but soon realized that she was in a dangerous situation as he started to choke her.
“I think it’s just fun and games — but then it wasn’t.”
Yeah, no shit. Reynir (the bartender from earlier) saw the situation “going way out of hand,” and decided to get involved.
“Miller grabs me by the throat as I’m trying to usher him out the back door and tells me he’s not leaving.”
“Miller repeatedly claimed that the woman’s friends had pushed him, which they didn’t. He proceeded to spit in my face several times, so with the final push I closed and locked the door.”
Reynir then ran to lock the tavern’s front entrance that Miller had ran to and was now banging on the door and screaming to be let in. Eventually, the actor was ushered into a car by two local friends and driven away. If Reynir had Miller on his arse with a broken jaw at this point, then everything today would have been so different. Alas!
Whilst the chokehold incident is now well known, there is yet another accusation that has come to light regarding Miller’s abusive behavior against women.
A German women who is only referred to as “Nadia” claims she was Ezra’s fuck-buddy for two years but it all changed one night in February when Miller (allegedly) snapped at her when she told them they could not smoke in her apartment. Miller activated his big man mode and became abusive. Nadia said.
“I asked him to leave about 20 times, maybe more. He started insulting me. I’m a ‘transphobic piece of shit.’ I’m a ‘Nazi.’ It became so, so stressful for me. He was going around my house, looking at everything, touching everything, spreading tobacco leaves on the floor. It felt disgusting and very intrusive.”
Miller claims, and I quote:
“I’m a maker of planets. Tobacco is sacred.”
Nadia said she was able to get Miller out of her apartment, but his aggressive behavior continued into the morning. Nadia said she did not feel safe as Miller continued to hurl accusations at her such as claiming she stole his passport and money while outside her home.
In April, Nadia filed a criminal complaint about the incident and investigators were looking into a charge of trespassing against Miller, but the German state prosecutor’s office said it had stopped its search since Miller had left the country.
Ezra Miller is still MIA but I’m sure he’ll do something next week for us to report on.
