With Harrison Ford at 78, one of the questions everyone has been asking is how will Indiana Jones 5 accomplish the great, big action that Indiana Jones is known for. Will the story be set appropriately to Indy’s age? Will there be flashbacks? Will he be de-aged? How will any of this fit around rumored plotlines of Nazi rocket scientists at NASA and Arthurian myth?

We know the movie is filming in the UK, on location at both Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland and on the North Yorkshire Moors where Mission: Impossible 7 just finished a shoot.

The UK’s Daily Mail has some behind-the-scenes shots and they seem to confirm that de-aging will be used, most likely in a flashback scene.

The shots show a stuntman wearing a young Harrison Ford mask while riding a motorcycle. You can also see a World War 2 era Nazi uniform like those in Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade. The mask would probably be used for long shots from a distance with digital technology taking over for closer work. With this likely not practical for an entire movie, this married to the Nazi uniforms would indicate a flashback sequence.

James Mangold helms this final outing of Ford in the franchise and is co-writing it with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, and Shaunette Renee Wilson round out the cast.
