It’s being reported that streaming service Hulu is creating a TV show based on the science-fiction horror franchise Predator.

According to the report, the Predator series is still in the development phase. Consumers will likely have to wait a while for a release date for the project.

The news was reportedly confirmed by an inside source for the entertainment website Giant Freaking Robot, but this rumor has not been officially verified by Hulu at this time.

Predator is not the only 20th Century property to have a TV show in the works. For the FX channel, an Alien series is being worked on by Fargo and Legion showrunner Noah Hawley.

With the aforementioned TV shows, Hawley has proven himself as one of the decent showrunners in the industry. The Alien show sets itself apart from the films by taking place on earth.

The television project is expected to arrive sometime in 2023. However, there is a possibility for the series to be delayed.

A Predator show is not the only upcoming project in the franchise. Prey, a movie prequel set 300 years in the past, is expected to come to Hulu sometime in the summer of 2022. That motion picture will tell the story of Naru, a warrior who tries to protect her tribe from the alien hunters.

There will be no theatrical release, instead, it will be premiering on the same streaming service that the tv show will debut on.

We’ll bring you more on these Predator and Alien projects when we find out.
