I’ve just finished watching House Of Hammer, a three episode docuseries about the recent allegations of Armie Hammer and his sexual abuse, fetishes and (alledged) cannibalism. And those aren’t even the most shocking thing about the show!
Armie And Shibari
The series starts with Courtney Vucekovich telling us she lost her entire sense of self during her months-long relationship with Hammer in 2020. What seemed like a normal start to a relationship soon developed into a world of bondage, stalking and all out weirdness.
Apparently, Armie is fixated with Shibari, which is the Japanese art of rope bondage. There’s even a clip in the series of him on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert talking about being a “knot enthusiast”. They all hide in plain sight folks.
On a trip with Hammer, Courtney says he used ropes on her.
“I said everything but no. He puts on this creepy playlist and just, like, the ropes were around my neck, wrists, ankles and behind my back. I had bruises. I hated it. I understand that if this is your fantasy, if this is your thing, more power to you. I didn’t like it.”
While on an earlier vacation with Hammer, Courtney says there was an experience which left her traumatised. She refuses to go into detail of what the experience was though but one can imagine.
“It was something that has never been done to me. It’s very degrading and very belittling.”
There are other accusations from a multiple of women throughout. Armie is even heard detailing a sexual fantasy involving rope bondage in the opening minutes:
“Alright, buckle your seatbelt. This is going to be the bet. If I win, I get to come over to your house with my bag of goodies. My bet was going to involve showing up to your place and completely tying you up and incapacitating you and then being able to do whatever I wanted to every single hole in your body until I was done.”
Biting And Cannibalism
I would like to say writing about this is weird but let’s be honest, we are talking about 21st century Hollywood here. Does anything even remotely shock us anymore? Anyway, it appears Armie, or Armand Hammer if we use his full name, seems to like biting and even has ideas about cannibalism.
Courtney recounts an incident where Hammer stopped by her apartment when she wasn’t there and took photos of the building. He sent her text messages saying he was:
“Trying to find your scent. I’m going to bite the f**k out of you.”
Courtney goes on to say:
“He bites really hard. “He tells you to wear them like a badge of honor. Almost like he convinced me that I’m lucky to have it. As fucked up as it sounds, at that time, I was interpreting that as love. Looking at it now makes me sick. He pushes your boundaries a little bit at a time.”
It’s not just Courtney either. Armand has been accused of sexual assault by two other women, Paige Lorenze and a woman named Effie. Neither appear in the docuseries but Effie was the first to come forward in early 2021, posting on an Instagram account called House of Effie. She has accused him of rape and abuse over their four-year relationship. Lorenze previously appeared on Dr. Oz saying:
“Armie said he wanted to find a doctor in Los Angeles to remove my ribs. He wanted to eat my ribs, he wanted to smoke them. He’s obsessed with meat. I brushed it off, but I do believe that he was serious.”
The Hammer Family
We meet Armie’s aunt, Casey Hammer who over the next couple of episodes shines a light on the Hammer family. Summing it up she says:
“On the outside, we were a perfect family. But magnify Succession a million times, and it was my family.”
Look, I don’t want to give too much away because I encourage everyone to watch this series. Casey lifts the lid on her family revealing all the familiar faces and tropes we’ve come to expect. These include US Presidents, the Royal Family, paedophilia, incest, drugs, blackmail, murder, Hollywood and Communism. How this docuseries was allowed to be made is mind blowing.
Now I leave you with this little morsel of info. Armie’s great-grandfather, Dr. Julius Hammer was a Russian immigrant living in the Bronx and a central member of the Communist Party of the United States. He was also a spy for Russia.
His son (Armie’s grandfather) was also called Armand Hammer. The name is literally Arm And Hammer, a symbol by many different kinds of organizations, including banks, local governments, and socialist political parties.
As I said earlier, these people hide in plain sight and they occupy the very highest echelons of our society. And I’m writing all this on the same day My Son Hunter is released!
