Featuring Stranger Things, Killer Klowns From Outer Space & Ghostbusters
Universal Orlando kicked off its annual Halloween Horror Nights last night.
This year, customers can immerse themselves in any of the 10 haunted houses and five “scare zones” where performers in costumes frighten unsuspecting patrons.
The haunted houses each have a cinematic theme, these include:
Stranger Things –
and Killer Klowns From Outer Space –
The other haunted houses include Universal Monsters, Us, House Of 1000 Corpses, Nightingales Blood Pit, Depths Of Fear, and Graveyard Games.
The designated “scare zones” this year will include Zombieland: Double Tap, Rob Zombie Hellbilly Deluxe, Anarch-Cade, Vikings Undead, and Vanity Ball.
As for live entertainment, there will be two shows, including the all-new Halloween Marathon Of Mayhem that will take place on Universal Studio’s lagoon. Featuring electro music and giant water screens, guests will surely be in for a Halloween treat.
There will be quite a few staple attractions open during Halloween Horror Nights, which will give you a break from all the scares. Universal lists the following as being open:
- Harry Potter And The Escape From Gringotts™ (closes at 11 pm)
- Revenge Of The Mummy
- Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket
- Men In Black: Alien Attack
- Fast & Furious: Super Charged (Closes prior to event end.)
- Transformers The Ride: 3D (Closes prior to event end.)
- The Simpsons Ride (Open select nights only.)
I’ll be visiting in a few weeks, so I’ll report back if it was any good.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal runs from Sept. 6th until Nov. 2, 2019.
