Footage Was Premiered At Blumfest

At a virtual event dubbed “BlumFest,” Blumhouse Productions gave us the first look at footage from the upcoming Halloween Kills.

The recent event featured panels for projects including The Craft reboot, the Welcome To The Blumhouse anthology, the Vince Vaughn-led Freaky, The Ethan Hawke-directed The Good Lord Bird, and the return of Michael Myers in Halloween Kills.

Speaking at the event, Blumhouse’s founder Jason Blum said –

“This year has sidelined a lot for all of us, but Halloween is a treasured season at Blumhouse, so we conceived BlumFest to celebrate with our fans via a virtual event that will feature exclusive interviews and never-before-seen footage on an upcoming release or two,”

Delayed until October 2021, Halloween Kills is the second installment in David Gordon Green’s legacy Halloween trilogy and will pick up directly after the events depicted in 2018’s $250 million-grossing sequel.

Here’s the teaser –

David Gordon Green co-wrote the script along with Danny McBride and the film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak and Robert Longstreet, with original Halloween actor Charles Cyphers returning as Sheriff Leigh Brackett.

Halloween Kills is scheduled to open in theaters on October 15th, 2021. You can watch BlumFest on the company’s YouTube channel here –
