No live telecast and no red carpet, and no Ricky Gervais! Still, awards got to award. Hollywood will never deny itself the opportunity to slap itself on the back. With no telecast, how will they virtue signal? The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is still reeling from revelations of diversity issues and other wrongthink, so the only people attending the Golden Globes were executives and members.

Still, even without that stuff, the winners for the 79th Annual Golden Globe Awards have just been announced, and as nobody was invited, we had better tell you all about it.
The Power of the Dog and West Side Story did well. There were awards for Dune, King Richard, Tick, Tick…Boom!, Belfast, and No Time to Die among others.
Succession, Hacks, Ted Lasso and Squid Game were some of the Golden Globes winners for television.
