Right, I’m back for the Golden Globes TV nominations. I’m a little less grumpy now I’ve had not one, but two cups of tea and a jam doughnut. But don’t get too optimistic because one of the best shows on TV right now – Gangs Of London – doesn’t feature on any of these lists!
I also can’t help but notice Amazon’s Rings Of Power, Marvel’s She-Hulk or even Lucasfilm’s Obi-Wan Kenobi don’t feature either. How strange considering what a monumental success they all were. Perhaps the people that made the list are just misogynist racists – yeah, that will explain it.

Best Television Series – Drama
Better Call Saul
The Crown
House of the Dragon
Ozark
Severance
Why is this even an option?
Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama
Emma D’Arcy, House of the Dragon
Laura Linney, Ozark
Imelda Staunton, The Crown
Hilary Swank, Alaska Daily
Zendaya, Euphoria
I’m pretty sure that D’Arcy is a nonbinary thingy, so nice decision in nominating “them” for an actress award you bigots!

Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama
Jeff Bridges, The Old Man
Kevin Costner, Yellowstone
Diego Luna, Andor
Bob Odenkirk, Better Call Saul
Adam Scott, Severance
Adam Scott was great in Severance where he practically plays two people. He gets my vote even if he is a douchebag.
Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy
Abbott Elementary
The Bear
Hacks
Only Murders in the Building
Wednesday
Yawn.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy
Quinta Brunson, Abbott Elementary
Kaley Cuoco, The Flight Attendant
Selena Gomez, Only Murders in the Building
Jenna Ortega, Wednesday
Jean Smart, Hacks
Alphas don’t watch musicals so I have no idea about any of these shows.
Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy
Donald Glover, Atlanta
Bill Hader, Barry
Steve Martin, Only Murders in the Building
Martin Short, Only Murders in the Building
Jeremy Allen White, The Bear
I recently watched Planes, Trains And Automobiles so on that basis (and the fact I’ve never seen these shows) give it to Steve.
Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television
Black Bird
Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story
The Dropout
Pam & Tommy
The White Lotus
A damn fine selection to choose from. I’d vote for Dahmer though just because it will annoy the LGBTQP brigade.
Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television
Jessica Chastain, George and Tammy
Julia Garner, Inventing Anna
Lily James, Pam & Tommy
Julia Roberts, Gaslit
Amanda Seyfried, The Dropout
Lily James deserves this…
Best Performance by an actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television
Taron Egerton, Black Bird
Colin Firth, The Staircase
Andrew Garfield, Under the Banner of Heaven
Evan Peters, Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story
Sebastian Stan, Pam & Tommy
Peters should win this and I’ve already given my reason why.
Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television
Jennifer Coolidge, The White Lotus
Claire Danes, Fleishman Is in Trouble
Daisy Edgar-Jones, Under the Banner of Heaven
Niecy Nash, Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story
Aubrey Plaza, The White Lotus
Stiffler’s Mum is always good value and The White Lotus is a great show.
Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television
F. Murray Abraham, The White Lotus
Domhnall Gleeson, The Patient
Paul Walter Hauser, Black Bird
Richard Jenkins, Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story
Seth Rogen, Pam & Tommy
Rogen – Hahahahah, who made this list?!
Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical-Comedy or Drama Television Series
Elizabeth Debicki, The Crown
Hannah Einbinder, Hacks
Julia Garner, Ozark
Janelle James, Abbott Elementary
Sheryl Lee Ralph, Abbott Elementary
I’ve not finished The Crown yet but so far, Elizabeth Debicki is knocking it out of the park.
Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical-Comedy or Drama Television Serie
John Lithgow, The Old Man
Jonathan Pryce, The Crown
John Turturro, Severance
Tyler James Williams, Abbott Elementary
Henry Winkler, Barry
Why are Christopher Walken or Cole Hauser not on this list for their roles in Severance and Yellowstone respectively?
