Prime Video has released a trailer for Gen V, a spin-off series from The Boys. Be warned for any of you boys and girls watching this at work because it has the same deliciously gruesome style, chock-a-block with blood, guts and all sorts of depravity.

Gen V will focus on college students at Godolkin University School of Crimefighting which Vought Industries run. The university seems to be a facility to train a new, up-and-coming generation of supes. I presume we’re talking X-Men but with ludicrous amounts of insane shenanigans.

Gen V
Wait, what?!

The Boys fans will also spot a few familiar faces in the trailer, with Jessie T Usher, Colby Minifie and PJ Byrne set to reprise their roles as A-Train, Ashley Barrett and Adam Bourke.

Gen V also stars the immortal Clancy Brown, who will bring his usual awesomeness to proceedings. Other cast members include Lizze Broadway, Chance Perdomo, and Maddie Phillips. There will also be some Supes with Patrick Schwarzenegger playing Golden Boy and Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity.

Gen V isn’t the only spinoff that fans of The Boys have to look forward to, Seth Rogen (eye roll) is apparently working on an ultra-violent animated anthology series called The Boys Presents: Diabolical.

I’m not a fan of Rogen but I’ll give him his due as a Producer because I thought Preacher and Invincible were both excellent!

Anyway, the trailer is below… Consume!
