“You May Have Changed Our Future, But You Didn’t Change Our Fate.”

The new trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate has dropped and it shows Grace (Mackenzie Davis) who has been engineered into a cyborg to go back in time and protect a girl called Dani Ramos (Natalie Reyes) from termination.

Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as a T-800 model Terminator named Carl, an older model who was originally sent back to kill John Connor years prior. Also returning to the franchise to reprise the role of Sarah Connor is Linda Hamilton.

Edward Furlong also returns in some capacity to portray Sarah’s son John Connor.

Here’s the trailer:

The movie’s synopsis reads:

“Sarah Connor and a hybrid cyborg human must protect a young girl from a newly modified liquid Terminator from the future.”

The film is helmed by Deadpool director Tim Miller but is also produced by James Cameron, the director of the first two films.

Each time they release one of these garbage nu-Terminator sequels, it makes the previous garbage sequel look better in comparison. I don’t know if any other franchise has achieved this. I’ll give Dark Fate a chance, but the marketing material has done nothing to convince me. Neither has the R-rating.

Terminator: Dark Fate is released on October 23rd in the UK and November 1st in the US.
