A movie that was rumored to be coming, but then went quiet, has pushed itself back to prominence with some casting news. A reboot of the 1980s classic Chevy Chase Fletch movies is spinning up at Miramax and Jon Hamm is to take on the lead role.

Investigative reporter Irwin M. ‘Fletch’ Fletcher appeard in the 1985 and a 1989 sequel Fletch Lives.
