Our Boy Is Trapped In A Hellish Amusement Park

LMO can reveal a first-look image from the upcoming horror thriller Wally’s Wonderland, in which Nicolas Cage plays a janitor at a condemned amusement park who must battle demonic animatronic foes.

Now a first-look image from the movie has made its way online. Unfortunately, the animatronic demons aren’t in the pic, but “Rage” Cage is –

Yeah, I hear you, as far as first looks go, this is a wet blanket. It’s Nic Cage sporting facial hair, and he’s checking out a sign. If that has done absolutely nothing for you, how about this cheeky synopsis?

“The film follows Cage’s character, The Janitor, in his bid to survive a hellish night trapped inside an abandoned family entertainment center populated by possessed animatronics.”

Prior to production, Kevin Lewis, who directs the film, had this to say –

“For me, there was always one actor and one actor only who could make this movie work,”

“and that actor is Nick Cage. I’m thrilled to be working with him and can’t wait to see him go up against Wally and his gang of psychopathic misfits. I see this movie as Pale Rider vs Killer Klowns from Outer Space.”

Wally’s Wonderland is now filming in Atlanta, and starring alongside Cage is Emily Tosta (Mayans M.C.), Beth Grant (No Country For Old Men), Ric Reitz (The Resident) and Chris Warner (Machete).

Cage previous movie was Richard Stanley’s Color Out Of Space, an adaption of an H.P. Lovecraft story. No release date has yet been announced for Wally’s Wonderland, although it is expected to be out sometime this year.
