Will they? Won’t they? Is he in it? Are they all in it? Spider-Man: No Way Home is basically a hotbed of speculation right now. Leaving aside the speculation over multiple Spideys appearing, another Marvel character has been often mentioned when talking about this movie – Daredevil.
Now Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has dropped a somewhat cryptic hint about Daredevil and who would be playing him in the MCU. During the Spider-Man: No Way Home press tour, Cinema Blend asked a question and Feige had this to say:
“If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.”
Speculation has been rampant that Cox’s incarnation of Daredevil will appear in the movie, mostly centered on his Matt Murdock being a lawyer, and Spider-Man needing a lawyer after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Cox has avoided making any comments on his Netflix character making the jump to the full-blown MCU but a scene in the third episode of Hawkeye dropped a pretty big hint that the Netflix universe is fully connected to the cinematic MCU.
Daredevil is still available, buried deep on Netflix. Spider-Man: No Way Home is just ten days away from release.
