It’s Hell At Home
Vivarium is an indie sci-fi psychological thriller starring Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year.
In Lorcan Finnegan’s film, a young couple are in search of a starter home. They follow a mysterious estate agent and find themselves trapped in a strange housing development with a baby and an accompanying note –
“Raise the child and be released.”

Here’s the official synopsis –
“Hoping to find the perfect place to live, a couple travel to a suburban neighbourhood in which all the houses look identical. But when they try to leave the labyrinth-like development, each road mysteriously takes them back to where they started.”
Vivarium joins Wonder Woman 1984, Marvel’s Black Widow, James Bond thriller No Time To Die and A Quiet Place: Part 2 on the long list of postponed movies. Fortunately for the filmmakers, Vivarium was always scheduled to be released in theaters and online at the same time, so even without the cinema screenings the film will be available online Friday, March 27th as planned.
You can stream Vivarium online now on platforms like iTunes, with the option to either buy the movie (£9.99) or rent it (£4.99) for a 24-hour period. Microsoft users can also watch it for the same prices with their watch at home program.
Other sites you can watch it through include BFI (rent only at £4.50), Curzon rental for £4.99 (but offers a discount for their members), and Virgin Media, which offers an HD option for £10.99 to buy.
