Dr Lewis Dodgson has been re-cast. Campbell Scott will take over the role  in Jurassic World: Dominion. He will be a key character and possibly serve as the villain.

In Jurassic Park he was was the head of research at Biosyn Genetics, the major competitor of InGen. He has now made it to CEO. Does this mean we will finally get to solve the riddle of the mud preserved embryos?

Dodgson was the contact of Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight) who gave him the means to steal the dinosaur embryos via a specially equipped fake shaving foam can. This was last seen being entombed in the mud slide as Nedry met his end.

Original actor Cameron Thor was sentenced to six years in prison in 2016 for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, so even Hollywood can’t re-use him.

Scott is best known for his roles as George Tunner in The Sheltering Sky, Boris Kuester von Jurgens-Ratenicz on Royal Pains, Mark Usher on House of Cards, Joseph Tobin on Damages, and Richard Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, as well as numerous stage appearances.

Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Isabella Sermon, and BD Wong star in the Colin Trevorrow-directed film which opens June 11th next year.
