Marvel Studios has released the official full trailer for Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The sequel movie follows in the story unveiled in Loki and then accelerated by Strange himself’s actions in Spider-Man: No Way Home in which the multiverse was fully unleashed into the MCU. Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, post-WandaVision and probably still deeply affected by what she did, will also be a central character and potentially pivotal to whatever happens.
There has been talk that there were top-secret reshoots featuring a limited cast and crew, simply to keep the appearance of certain MCU characters secret before release. Rumors around the inclusion of various versions of Marvel characters are all over the internet at the moment.
Rachel McAdams returns from the first movie, along with Benedict Wong and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens on May 6th. Here is the trailer – check it out.
