The other night, a friend came over and we browsed through Netflix and saw Diana. Clicking on it, we found it was a musical. We both decided no.
Turns out, that was a good decision. Netflix viewers have been pouring out their hate of the production all over social media.
Diana: The Musical is set to open on Broadway later this year. A rendition of the show was filmed, without an audience, and then streamed on Netflix this month.
In this version, Princess Diana is played by Jeanna de Wall and Prince Charles being played by Roe Hartrampf.
Here are some of the comments from social media:
Genuinely painful to watch. The idea of ‘DIANA: THE MUSICAL’ should’ve been destroyed, then burned, then have the earth where it grew salted.
Diana: The Musical is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen and I can’t stop thinking about it.
Some more from Twitter:
Diana the Musical is terrible…. I cannot look away.

My favourite is from Michael McKean:
Cut to gape-jawed opening night audience a la The Producers https://t.co/b2uvE62xwX

There is a new biopic in the works, but starring Kristen Stewart as Princess Di… I can’t see how that’s any better.
Diana: The Musical is streaming on Netflix and I kind of want to see it now. If I do, I’ll do a review. This is what we go through for our Outposters!
