Climate Change Pissing Off The Sharks
Continuing with LMO’s unofficial Shark Week, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the first trailer for Deep Blue Sea 3.
In Deep Blue Sea 3, Dr Emma Collins (Tania Raymonde), is the leader of a team studying the effects of climate change on great whites nearby a small island. Things get turned upside down when Emma’s marine biologist ex-boyfriend Richard (Nathaniel Buzolic) shows up looking for a particular set of bull sharks, presumably the genetically modified ones that escaped into the open ocean at the end of Deep Blue Sea 2.

The official synopsis for the movie reads –
“Emma Collins, an eminent marine biologist, and her crew have set up a mid-ocean laboratory over a sunken island town in the ocean where they are observing the first known Great White mating area. Unfortunately, the enhanced Bull Sharks that escaped in Deep Blue Sea 2 are also there with their own evolutionary goal: cross-breeding with the bigger faster Great Whites. The mission’s patron, Richard Lowell, believes that the Bull Sharks contain the key to intelligence enhancement, which he secretly intends to sell for big profits. Now, Emma and her crew are trapped on crumbling stilt houses mere feet over the ocean, caught between predators above and below the water.”
Deep Blue Sea 3 is directed by John Pogue (The Quiet Ones) and written by Dirk Blackman (Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans).
The movie will be released on Blu-ray on August 25th, 2020.
