It has been a tough few years to be a DC fan. Watching the greatest collection of comic book heroes ever assembled get handled so badly. The haphazard universe building, the multiple Batmen, the lacklustre sequels. The best movie in the whole thing being the movie they tried to kill off.
Campaigning for that Snyder Cut was successful, but it seems it has encouraged some more… shall we say, eccentric campaigning on behalf of DC fans. Maybe the constant hits have made some of the fanbase punch drunk. They have potentially been driven insane by the Black Adam and Superman debacle and the Gunn/Safran reset. How is this lunacy manifesting this time?
They have started a petition to sell the Snyderverse to Netflix, so Netflix can complete it. Seriously. We are not joking. Look…

As of last night, the hashtag #SellSnyderVerseToNetflix was currently trending on Twitter with over 12.9k tweets and #SellZSJLtoNetflix was heading to 19k tweets. This is on top of their other hashtag happy DC-related activity – #GunnAndSafranOut, #FireJamesGunnAndPeterSafran, and #BoycottWB.
Oh Lord, the internet remains a terrible idea.
