When COVID was on the march last year Con after Con was canceled as pandemic controls were introduced across the world. DC and Warner Bros. were one of the first to signal their intention to go virtual and DC FanDome was born. The virtual event was a big success.
Millions tuned in online to the DC FanDome to see everything from a first trailer for The Batman, a teaser for Black Adam, Zack Snyder’s Justice League news, a look at The Suicide Squad and more.
It was such a success that Warner Bros. has decided they are going to do it all over again.
A new trailer for The Batman is nailed on to appear. As the date is set for October 16th and a one-day event this year rather than last year’s two-day session, we can speculate what else may be on the menu.
Black Adam and The Flash will have been filming for a while by then, so first look footage or a teaser is a probability. It may be a similar story with Shazam 2: Fury Of The Gods and Aquaman 2.
On TV there will be the John Cena show The Peacemaker to unveil, and likely to be something from Gotham PD. HBO Max’s Green Lantern may put in an appearance too, but it may be too early for anything of substance from that show.
