Look, we are just gonna have to shut down all announcements from Warner Bros. and DC Studios until we can figure out what is going on. Seriously, that is not a bad idea. After the Cavill debacle, but other DCEU figures still cropping up all over the place, this cryptic Darkseid announcement is just confusing.
Director Zack Snyder just dropped a mysterious video requesting we “Save the Date’ for the period of April 28th-30th. It takes the form of an Incoming Transmission from Lord Darkseid and we hear what sounds like Ray Porter’s voice. Porter did the voicework for Darkseid in Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Snyder tops it with a hashtag – #FullCircle.
Obviously, the army of Snyder-bros are going absolutely nuts online since it dropped. Social media speculation is rampant. Theories are some form of franchise capper being allowed from Snyder to close off his Snyder-verse, through to a Netflix continuation, with Snyder making a Darkseid movie in the new DCU as probably the favorite.
Is Zack Snyder’s Justice League going to get a theatrical release? Have James Gunn and Peter Safran pulled a masterstroke to mollify the agitated Snyder-bros? Who the fuck knows anymore?
This comes as it is confirmed that James Gunn will be directing Superman: Legacy after all.

Snyder is putting the finishing touches to Rebel Moon. The two-part sci-fi stars Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, and Anthony Hopkins.
