Anything you can do, she can do better! For she is She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. The upcoming action/comedy series from Marvel Studios has released a new TV spot, and this commercial features our first real look at the returning Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil.
He previously appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home but was not in costume for that outing, appearing instead as Peter Parker’s legal counsel. His appearance had been teased in other commercials, but this is the first full reveal in his Daredevil guise.
The costume has undergone a minor upgrade from the days of the Netflix show, with yellow added to the familiar red & black. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Wong and the Abomination, also returning for the show.
We also get a better look at Jameela Jamil, who is taking a break from attacking other women on Twitter, being accused of having Munchausen syndrome and running away from bees to appear as the main villain.
Tatiana Maslany stars as Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk, Mark Ruffallo co-stars as Hulk, with Tim Roth returning from The Incredible Hulk. Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, Jon Bass, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Benedict Wong round out the cast.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will premiere on August 18th on the Disney+ service with new episodes every subsequent Thursday. Just 10 days to go.
A previous attempt to bring She-Hulk to the screen was made way back in July 1989. She was first expected to appear in the television film The Death of the Incredible Hulk. The character ultimately did not appear, and a proposed television series featuring She-Hulk at ABC was cancelled a year later.
In 1991, a film based on the character entered development at New World Pictures with Larry Cohen serving as director. Brigitte Nielsen was set to play She-Hulk and she even participated in a promotional photoshoot, but the movie ultimately did not materialize.
