Shawn started a set of chats about Exploitation Cinema and controversial movies. You can find them on our YouTube Channel, which you should all subscribe to, because… erm… we asked nicely.

It turns out that Shawn and myself are both fans of exploitation movies and movies that cause controversy. So, we sat down to have a chat about some famous movies that are known for controversy.

This time, we talked about Nekromantik (1988), a German… love story of sorts. If you haven’t heard of it, here’s the blurb:

“A street sweeper who cleans up after grisly accidents brings home a full corpse for him and his wife to enjoy sexually, but is dismayed to see that his wife prefers the corpse over him.”

The shock value of the movie is that the ‘love scenes’ leave nothing to the imagination, there is a threesome with a very dilapidated body. A great date movie, if your date happens to be Barbara Crampton maybe.

There are some more of these on the way. Have you seen Nekromantik? What did you think?

We have other movies already recorded, but what other controversial movies should go on this list? Or do you think that Shawn and myself shouldn’t be allowed near the YouTube channel and locked in a basement with Nora Effron movies until we learn to be normal?
