Just days to go now until Cobra Kai returns to our screens with a fifth season. The martial-arts-comedy-drama-soap-opera and warm nostalgia bath will be back next week on Netflix.
Trailers and clips from the new episodes have been hitting the internet for months. This latest viral offering via Twitter is a recruitment advertisement for the Cobra Kai dojo as Terry Silver promises a “newly-improved” operation now under his sole leadership. He looks like he is finally achieving his dream of spreading Cobra Kai karate across the valley after his challenge bet with Daniel and Johnny last season.
According to the press releases:
“The new season will see Daniel (Ralph Macchio) train a new generation of martial artists outside dojos in order to take down Terry, whilst Johnny (William Zabka) travels to Mexico with his estranged son Robby to hunt down the missing Miguel.”
All the old crew is back – Xolo Mariduena, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Peyton List, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Martin Kove, and Thomas Ian Griffith. The characters of Chozen and Mike Barnes are also making reappearances.
